Part II: Analysis of Basic Ship Maneuvers

    I am not sure if my previous comment went through or not, so I am sending again.
    After trying your closed-form equations, I fear I am either not completely understanding them, or I am misinterpreting, as I haven't used this kind of math in >20 years. What I have found is the equations are fairly accurate for orbits using frigate and jetcan, but varies when using other ships and/or targets, even when including the non-zero target radius.
    With that said, I would like to discuss my findings with you, on a lower level(I am not an engineer), if you have the time and/or interest.

      Thanks for the follow-up note. Your previous comments did get to me albeit some weeks late. The equations are accurate for orbits around a jet-can because the jet-can has a small zero-meter-radius of its own. If you are orbiting a ship you have to account for a larger radius. You can determine what radius you need to add to the effective radius with some experimentation. I have not compiled a list of object sizes because I only have one EVE account. If you'd be interested in helping me perhaps we could make a list of actual object sizes?
